// FAQ

Do grid bots work in trending markets?

Poorly. Uptrends sell your inventory early (opportunity cost); downtrends accumulate a bag. Grids are built for ranging markets - sizing and range choice matter more than the platform.

How tight should grid spacing be?

Wide enough that one round trip clears both fees with margin: at 0.1% per side, 0.3% spacing leaves only 0.1% gross per cycle. Community tests found ~0.24% spacing outperforming 1000-grid setups on the same range.

Spot or futures grid?

Spot grids hold assets - worst case is bag holding. Futures grids add leverage and liquidation risk plus funding fees. Start spot.
